The spoiler is gray.

A shame.
'Twould have ruined SG Wheelie's physique if it had been made from that dinky little figurine. SG Wheelie is supposed to be a big beefy barbarian warlord.-Kanrabat- wrote:I had to check on Pulse, but it seems SG Grimlock don't come with a SG Wheelie.

Dark Crumplezone, actually.-Kanrabat- wrote:WHAT?
Not that Cybertron Crumplezone mold!![]()
Nope. Illustration only, just like many other SG characters who never got toys but still had bodies based on real toy molds.-Kanrabat- wrote:Searching...
But the toy was never made, right?

And as for the purple redeco of Arms Micron Jigu, The inverse logic there was that, where normal Wheelie fights against Sharkticons, SG Wheelie fights with a Sharktigun.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Dark Crumplezone, actually.-Kanrabat- wrote:WHAT?

Interesting.
Too bad so many of them will never be made.

My Grimlock (who I'll be using as Trypticon) is supposed to get here today, after apparently being trapped in Portland for all of yesterday.
That silver paint is SHARP. Surprised they went with that instead of just white, but it really looks great.
If Grimlock is any indication, the lack of exclusive-cover comics means that Shattered Glass prices are now just the exact same as retail prices.Till-all-R1 wrote:Particularly at their prices.

Emerje wrote:Haven't most of the SG figures been available at deep discounts during the Pulse sales? Really the only excuse for not getting them is just not having money on hand at the time, they were more than affordable.

The Slicer set is legitimately the only SG set with zero markup whatsoever, they made a 2-pack of Deluxes and they sold it for the retail price of a 2-pack of Deluxes. Exo-Suit is an ER Fasttrack repaint, that's a Deluxe.Till-all-R1 wrote:Case in point, I really like the looks of Slicer but $49 for a DLX Bot???
Yeah okay it also comes with some other "Exo-Suit" thing that I don't want which pads the price, but at best it's only the price of a "Core" bot which still leaves $15 unaccounted for. IMO
Right, that's what I'm saying, that is what is happening this year. Grimlock was just retail price, Rodimus should be retail price, and the other 2-3 mystery SG releases we're getting are probably also gonna be retail priced.Till-all-R1 wrote:So I for one would like to see what is essentially just a repaint of an existing mold sold at more reasonable prices as their initial release.

Didn't know that Exo-Suit was a DLX release from whenever, so I guess it gets somewhat of a pass. However, was it a DLX from the old days when they were under $20 or later when they are now $24?
Because to me it looks like a $15 toy max.
