Well that's a matter of taste and opinion, and everyone has their own. What's the worst for me might not be the worst for you.-Kanrabat- wrote:What would be the worst of the worst TF series, then?

And we're talking 40 years of a bunch of continuities.
For me, I'd have to go with the Prime Wars trilogy as THE worst. It's truly the only series I never wanted to see again. Beast Machines is also up (or down) there, and I've only ever seen it once in the last 25 years. But I think I might despise it a little less now that I'm older, so I might watch it again soon. Honorable mention goes to Energon as well.
And despite Kingdom being the worst of WFC, I have seen that trilogy 3 times so far, and if I ever get Netflix back I might watch it again.
And Sabrblade, for a reason I can't identify or explain, the fact that the toys were copied onto the screen down to their screwholes actually appealed to me. It seemed that for the 1st time ever I actually saw on screen exactly what I had on my shelves and in my hands. Even if some of the previous lines actually came pretty close.

eh, it'd be interesting to see but I think I much prefer the look of the animation models as characters - I mean, imagine trying to take Toy!Megatron seriously as a villain, or having Bumblebee with his Micro Change proportions. Or Diaclone Ratchet! But to each their own, I guess.-Kanrabat- wrote:I would LOVE to see the first 3 episodes of the original cartoon re-animated with their ACTUAL toy look. No CGI. Pure hand-drawn.

Maybe I was just scarred by The Enemy Within as a kid!
Aha, I saw Chris McFeely repost one of her compilations the other day but hadn't checked out the rest of her account. Her Greenlight really put me in mind of Call of the Primitives in its proportions & styling. Really like that Path Finder too. Thanks for the rec!Fires_Of_Inferno wrote:@ZucchinnaArt on twitter redraws scenes from the cartoon with the characters in their toy designs. She's really good at making them look like they were drawn in that rough 80's animation style! She also does some animation as well. Check her out!

If you have all the figures, endless patience, and a WHOLE lot of time, you could do a stop-motion reenactment of MTMTE.-Kanrabat- wrote:Glyph wrote:Which amuses me in terms of "G1 designs", since the iconic animation models for the early G1 cartoon/comics were infamous for looking nothing at all like their toy counterparts...
