Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
Cobotron wrote:HEY! It's coming along real nice. I like the wall mounted unit. You can use each cubby to tell a different little story. The spice racks make for a great stair step effect. I bet you could spray paint those if you don't like them white.

I like them white and I really like the black rubbery stuff on the top. They also have little rubber feet. Lots of non-skid action going on here. I just didn't realize how not white my shelves were. Not sure if they have always been this way or just aged. Maybe I will paint them one day, but there will be lots of masking to do.
I wanted to come and point out the spice racks, because we briefly talked about display options on your collection thread. But you beat me to it.

I realized that I really enjoy organizing things when I was making room for the combiner wars figures. It amazes me just how much time I can spend posing a single figure until it's "perfect". I would imagine that is not a unique trait around these parts.

Wait, what? Do you mean bonsai trees, or is there a relative of the Whomping Willow I am unaware of?
As for the order vs chaos diatribe in one's collection: All I really mean by order is having some sort of reason or rationale behind each display piece. Having smaller areas for displays increases the likelihood of each area having a tidier theme.

Voyager class fits just fine. They do have to stand pretty straight forward though. I would guess that the smaller MP would work, just with limited angles. MP-10 feet would fit, but just barely.
I would say the steps are about 2 to 2/12 inches deep.
If I had a jam packed MP shelf and I was going to use the steps. I would put larger figures (like MP-10) behind the steps and then work may way down to smaller figures.
