COMICS/MEDIA: (this information provided by DreamWave) In April, 2002, DreamWave will publish Transformers G1 #1. It will have an Autobot cover, a Decepticon cover plus an incentive Devestator vs. Superion cover (all of these are gatefold). Also, DreamWave is doing a holofoil cover for issue #1 that's the Autobots vs. the Decepticons on Cybertron. They will also be doing four posters ... Optimus Prime, Megatron, the Autobots, and the Decepticons. In May they will be releasing a Starscream poster for the fans. Dreamwave has also posted a poll on our
Transformers polls section of our message board. They've given their users 5 choices, and the one that gets the most votes will be made into a poster for June. DreamWave is going to try and release a poster a month, for as long as people want them to continue. There's just too much great Transformers stuff out there to ignore. Just click

Dreamwave Productions has finally secured the Transformers license through Hasbro in order for them to produce new Transformers: Generation One comics and the new series which is tentatively titled "Transformers: Armada". You can read the official Hasbro press release
