While shopping in Target the other I found the last clearanced Omega Sentinel (for 31.48). A number of other Seibertronians also report having difficulties finding this repaint.
The shocking thing, however, is that Sentinel rings up as "NCF TRNSFMRS".
"What," you may ask, "does 'NCF' stand for?"
Well, in Target-lingo, it stands for "Not Carried Forward", according to my finacee, on Target's pricing team.
NCF items are items which Target doesn't plan on restocking, ever.
Indeed, the shelf tag where the Omegas used to be is gone, with more Ultra price-points filling in.
If you remeber, there was talk at this past year's OTFCC that another Supreme level figure would debut in Energon. We've heard no word about it yet. Could dismal sales of Unicron, and the fact that a number of stores started selling Omega at below cost, just to move them, have caused Hasbro to can the largest, and most expensive price point? Is it really only the hard-core collectors who can afford to purchase those products? Do parents really spend that much on one toy for their children?
This has all been speculation on my part, but I think it's something we need to be aware of. Do you want to see the Supreme price point present? Or do you think it's a waste of money and retail space?
Sound off in the Energon pub, in
this thread.

TFW2005.com received images from one of their sponsors of a set of
Micromaster Constructicons in Transformers: Energon packaging. It looks like these little buggers are for the European market since they do not have Transformers: Universe. You can view the pictures
here.
And while you're at it, don't forget to check out the
toy galleries on SEIBERTRON.com of the
Micromasters Constructicons ...

Dai Atorasu has posted some images from Snakas website
here at the
Energon Pub. You can find the original links on Snakas' website by clicking on the following links:
Robot Masters Fortress Maximus and
Green Unicron. To be honest, I have no idea what the
Green Unicron is for or from - especially since I can't get Babelfish to translate those pages from Japanese to English. If you know, please post the information below so we can share it with everyone. Thanks!
EDIT FROM SEIBERTRON: Shin Getter Robo informed me that he originally posted a news blurb about this back on
May 19th, 2004. Apparently this version of Unicron is called "Shining Unicron" which is supposed to represent the combined form of all of the Mini-Cons when they battled the Chaos bringer himself!

The latest selection of Robot Masters figures have begun to hit eBay, in the form of the repainted Laser Cycles
Road Rocket and Double Face, and the Cyber Jet repaint double-pack
Delta Seeker and X-Gunner. The auctions feature these figures in their packaging (which continues the usual high standard of the Robot Masters line), with images of both the back and front of the boxes.
***UPDATE***
Our very own alex_kingdom is now putting together a gallery of the figures both in and out of their packaging. You can check out the gallery at the
Energon Pub.
