I knew Megatron's body was in the mine, I was kinda hoping for that to be found instead of some possesion plot, but whatever...
This series isn't realy apealing to me, however the writing and dialog at time has its moments.
I'm not expecting anything great, but I hope its good. More importantly, I hope it speeds up the overall plot. 3 months in and still nothing has happened outside of some girl misusing an all powerful key, and no one taking it away from her!?!
I hate quoting myself, but I was actualy very pleased, one of the first things that happened, they took that idiot key away. Of course they lost it anyway, but that also had dismeberment, so it's all good.
I like the way alot of side issued got wrapped up and elaborated on to. The little fat guy being pulled through the ground was cool to!
Very nice to finaly see some Decepticons! I hate when stories only focus on the Autobots reguardless of what series it is.
So over all I liked it. It left Prime looking like he just crapped himself!

Megatron's resurrection was done very well. I had goosebumps as he pulled himself together. It was good seeing the 'cons as the baddies again instead of more human villians. Can't wait to see the all-out battle they have next week.

I wish they had done it as an hour long special unstead of showing a rerun of ben 10 before animated since the original ben 10 series has ended, and they are get ready to start a whole new series just like with the original justice league.
I posted an episode list for season 2, go look at it. The reinfocments from Cybertron aren't slatted to arrive till AFTER Megatron Rissing.

I know, I think it was stupid of them not to do so. YTV just showed a bad Fantastic 4 rerun after Animated. They should have aired the second part instead.
Amazing episode though. It was definately focused on the Decepticons for the first time in this series. I loved the whole episode. I could hear all the fans screaming "YES!" when Prime took the Key from Sari. Anyone else feel like Kaye was using BW Megatron a little in that scene? And BA was in it. After her appearance, I was expecting Lockdown and Soundwave to come back too. I hope FanTransformers uploads it to YouTube soon so I can watch it again.
BTW, what happened to Sumdac? He was sitting on Megatrons hand when he started to be reformatted. His hand closed and went through the floor and then when it was on his arm, Sundac was gone.

Cartoon Network has been pretty good about getting their programs out fairly quickly- See "Ben 10" box sets on store shelves now- especially the ones the get good ratings as TF:Ani does. I believe June is when we have the first officially slated at coming out at this point.
This episode really focused on Prime's ineptitude as a leader...or to be nicer, his inexperience.
How he handled Sari, well I know some people on here were cheering him, but I felt bad, and the fact that he could not take the key from her himself that was just pathetic. Make Ratchet do it instead.
Of course, Sari reacted like any child would, if she didn't it would have been odd. She did have a good point, but also I do agree that Prime had to make sure to tell her that while a part of the team, she was not a physical combatant in the war. Why couldn't they leave her on 'the Ark' with the key, Ratchet, and the Allspark?
I found it a rather odd coincidence that Black Arachnia just happens to show up and want the key again, at this very point, when the other cons seemed to want it too, and Prime decided that he wanted it to be safe with the Allspark. I know coincidences happen, but WHOA !
Bumblebee's reaction was good. I like that he showed some loyalty to his friend, and I am surprised that Bulkhead did not join with him.
Prime's insistence that his ideas are the only right ones seems so odd. Not seeing Prowl's logic, not caring about the fact that the dinos are living creatures now, it was very new.
Since Grimmie and Megs seem to have the same strength level in their bios, I imagine that Grimmie and Megs will go toe to toe soon, now that Megs has his body back.
Overall, a very good episode. Starscream was great, and the return of Blitzwing and Lugnut was also good. Finally the Decepticons are together and going to cause some trouble!

It would've been a bad idea to take Sari to the Ark because the Decepticons would go there to get the allspark. Prime has finally got some lugnuts, the other Autobots should realize this is a dangerous situation and that they should respect Prime's orders. I actually hope BB gets beat up by the Decepticons for doing such a stupid thing.

I'm kind of puzzled by the Dinobots. I thought they were going to help out or something, why were they fighting each other over a what I think was a misunderstanding? I guess that's just them.
I almost feel sorry for Isaac Sumdac. What happened to him anyway?
Megatron is pure awesome.
I like the character of Starscream, and Blitzwing is crazy as ever. Lugnut's loyalty is admirable to me in a way.
With Blackarachnia, I think Sari feels sorry enough to help her. I say she takes BA to the Ark and the Allspark.
a cluttered mind I have, I know, but this was a great boost for the show, and next week should be awesome!

A couple comments:
I loved Blitzwing ripping Ratchet's arm off to get the key. That's the kind of ruthlessness they should have. However, they could have also have finished him for good, but I guess there was some urgency and they don't consider him any kind of a threat. That kind of thing comes back to bite you in the butt.
I liked them taking the key of Sari. Really, she's always using it like a toy and she shouldn't have it. I know they'll probably give it back to her, but that will be crazy. Realalistically if they ripped Ratchet's arm off to get it, they'd pop her head off to get it from her neck.
I liked how Megatron handled Starscream even without a body. He needed Bumblebee as a distraction, but he made use of the crappy office equipment to it's best.
Obviously, Megatron pulling himself together once they had the key was cool.
I think perhaps my favourite part was Sumdac perhaps starting to get punished a bit. The guy is a total hack, he ripped off alien technology without understanding it and passes it off as his own. I work with so many useless people who only seem to get ahead in life, so I loved seeing him get crapped on.
You can see where they're going with Prime going to learn a life lesson about trusting in his people, but I hope they do explain that it's because it's a big deal and he's in a big panic, not because he's stupid or something.
Anyway, I guess it made sitting through some of the garbage episodes a little more tollerable.

The best part was starscream recating to seeing megatron. how megatron said, :isee the agony on your face" and starscream trying to make a speach getting ready to kill megatron. I thought that was handled very well and i was laughing at that part..
It as a great episode overall...can't wait til next week

And what's up with Optimus leaving in firetruck mode, and arriving in cab mode? Did he stop for a haircut or what?
I think it'd be a good idea if Sumdac actually was killed. It'd make for a more powerful plot dynamic and pave the way to Sari developing into a more interesting character. I never really like shows where no matter what happens it seems as though everything will just goes back to normal at the end of every episode.
On the other hand Sumdac might be worth keeping alive as a potential source of new robot characters in episodes yet to come.

As for Prime's character in this series, it actually reminds me of a combination of past characters. He's a little like the War Within Prime, has some shades of season 1 Beast Wars Prime and also Rodimus Prime.
One thing I do like about this series is this is the first time the Autobots are so ridiclously overmatched, with the possible exception of the 1986 movie.

AND FINALLY THEY TOOK THE KEY AWAY FROM SARI! F*ck that B*tch! Shes silly to think whatever she's been thinking!
But Geez, Blitzwing and LugNut took Two weeks to put themselves back together?
C'mon!
Finally and Actual Transformers Episode!
AND WTF with the Dinobots?! C'mon Writers! Just pencil in
Dinobots: Ok We'll help!
And still where is Snarl and Sludge?
GREAT EPISODE!

NiteStar wrote: And still where is Snarl and Sludge?
Snarl in the Animated universe is the triceratops, so he is there.
If you are asking where is the stegasaur and the brachisaur, then according to earlier reports at last year's Botcon, the show will only have 3 and the other two might make it into Universe.
Posted by Dead Metal on March 30th, 2008 @ 6:43am CDT
The only thing I did not like was, they may have killed Sumdac! Please no, he's the only Human character I really liked.
Oh And I think the dinobots are trying to kill each other, since they now know that they are robots.
Other then that, this is the best eppy ever, the reformating sceane was so very awesome!
Can't wait for next week!

The Autobots are really boned, but they might get some help in the next ep from the Dinobots and possibly Starscream (he'll most likely change sides when Megatron comes after him).
Black Arachnia might also help out since she's starting to befriend Sari.
Alternately, Soundwave and/or Lockdown could show up to help Megatron.
I can't wait this will turn out

'show me this dinobot island'
great tip of the hat there!
Posted by Black Bumblebee on March 30th, 2008 @ 9:55am CDT
I hope Sumdac is dead, as this will give more of a reason to having Sari hang out with the Autobots more: they will have "adopted" her, in a sense, feeling guilty about the death of her father.
Black Arachnia, I hope, is not "warming up" to Sari, but instead, is doing what she does best: Manipulate people.
Megatron / Starscream's relationship: where do they go from here?
Why hasn't Cybertron been contacted sooner? "Hi, we're stranded on an alien organic planet... can ya send someone to come pick us up? We've got this yummy allspark..."
Ultra Magnus and crew will show up at the END of episode 2 to "fix" the situation, 'cause gosh darn it, he CAN deal with it.
I'm still not use to Prime having a mouth, even after all these episodes. Someone shoot his lip or something so that he has a reason to cover it, m'kay?
Grimlock and crew will come to save puny Autobots. "Which ones friends?" "Me Grimlock say... friends are ones who have faces like these on chest"
