We've mirrored the images below.

Snarl's colors ring a bell somewhere... Then again,. I may be seeing things, as the dinos seem to follow "main color is black, secondary depends on dino" rule (Green for Grimlock, Red for Swoop, Purple for Snarl).
And I called Animated Lockdown and Beast Hunters Ultra Magnus

Crud, yes. Yes I did, was in too much of a hurry. Well, maybe one of our more experienced noble news crew that knows how to update the front page content will know how to fix it

Snarl reminds me of the recent Dinobot Slug toy deco.

This is the Japanese RID line, yes, but with additional molds from Animated, Beast Hunters (those that weren't part of the Go! line, it seems), and Generations.ZeroWolf wrote:So I'm a bit out of the loop is this line where takara will be releasing the RiD stuff (as how they used Go! For beast hunters)? Plus will they be putting together any fiction for this? As for the figures I'm digging the swoop and snarl redecos, I'm quite partial to those molds, same with lock down. ..whenever they reveals what the scheme is
The RID cartoon will be airing in Japan under the new name of "Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Adventure". It is unknown how the dub will handle the show's relation to TF: Prime since Japan never got the third season of Prime (it got Go!'s cartoon instead).

Right, gotcha thanks Sabrblade.

Yup, this is TakaraTomy's counterpart of RID 2015, though right now it looks more like a waste-bin line:
- Generations Scoop, Beast Hunters Ultra Magnus, Dreadwing and Knock Out were never released in Japan before.
- Animated Swoop and Snarl are probably put in to compliment Grimlock
- The Combiner Wars Legends are probably considered too small to be released stand-alone in Transformers Legends. Had a Kickback been in the works, that would have a different story for Bombshell and Shrapnel.

But wow, what an odd mix of lines. Looks like there was a traffic jam on Cybertron, and they just took whomever was on the off-ramp and made a toy line. Ha ha ha.
Some of these decos DO look considerably better... CrocOut sure got a classy re-deco. Any green construction vehicle is a must-buy, too.
As for the RID tv show figures, it doesn't seem like the molds are nice enough to warrant importing a snazzier Takara paint app.

EDIT: On second glance, I might have to go for Takara's Strongarm. That striped chest deco is better Hasbro's solid blue.

... but no weapons?
Kinda odd pairing Animated molds with RiD ones, if mostly because I love Animated's character designs while I find RiD's to be terribly dull, so it's like it shouldn't work but it sorta does.
Knock Out makes me think of Movie Sideways more than any of the mentioned Autobots.

If he had a black head, I'd agree. But the red head and red highlights on a mostly silver body made me think of Crosscut.Noideaforaname wrote:Knock Out makes me think of Movie Sideways more than any of the mentioned Autobots.

Strongarm redeco is "Greejeeber" (named after RID 2001 Rollbar's Japanese Car Robots name)
Knock Out redeco is "Bloody Knock Out" (seriously!)
AOE Power Battlers Junkheap redeco is "Junkion" (but colored like Ultra Magnus for some reason)
Roadblock only comes with one Targetmaster
Posted by william-james88 on January 23rd, 2015 @ 11:48am CST
While now both BBTS and Takaratomymall now have preorder listings, these listings also come with new photos not seen yet.
The new pictures include the following:
TED03 (one step) Sideswipe
TED01 (Hyperchange) Bumblebee
TED02 (Hyperchange) Grimlock
TED05 Junkheap
And a target master that comes with TAV07 Load Block (generations Scoop)

Maybe the toys come in robot mode. Animated Lockdown was quite tall in robot mode. Taller even that most of that line's Voyagers.william-james88 wrote:BBTS has them as well. The one really wierd thing is lockdown being priced as a voyager instead of a deluxe.

I was pretty certain of that, I just meant it more to say that its not all that fair since it was a deluxe.

THAT's it, the colors kept bothering me because I could not place them!
Knock Out redeco is "Bloody Knock Out" (seriously!)
He wasn't much of a "Medic" in Prime, was he? This is a shining example of TakaraTomy needing a prefix for trademarking for once.

Battle Blade Bumblebee suffers the same fate for Movie Advanced, so it has happened before.

I understand that. I was asking about size, is it comparable in size to a voyager?

No, its comparable to Deluxe. Warrior class in this toyline is all comparable to the deluxe class. He will be as tall as warrior (deluxe) bumblebee.

Good lord, they look just about anywhere for inspiration nowadays.
And no, that deco was only used in the game, it was never produced as a toy in case you were wondering.

Garbage trucks actually do tend to be blue in Japan. The Junkion and that Wreck-Gar both share the same source, but probably aren't directly inspired by one another.

Maybe being completely reassembled has... side effects...
I'd really like a Detritus (name spelling?) out of this mold. Has a snowball's chance of happening, but hey, non-standard Junkion, still a reasonable alt mode for a Junkion.

But maybe it is Ultra Magnus - you know from that alternate ending to the original Transformers Movie where Magnus is definitely and completely killed by Galvatron, and rather than reassemble him in a nonsensical sleight of hand, the Junkions just piece-meal his body back into a macabre suit of powered armor for Wreck-Gar to wear.
Hey, Minimus Ambus sort of looks like Wreck-Gar, doesn't he...
Oh my gosh what if Dominus Ambus **is** Wreck-Gar, and now because of the time-stream change, instead of being a robot that talks like a TV, he's a TV that talks like a robot!!!
