Yes Redwing was selects. Thrust and Runabout are normal ER (basically wave 4) that just happen to be Exclusive to Target in the U.S.

depends, if you absolutely want to ensure you get him, then buy him now. I will wait for the canadian release. And if it doesn't happen, so be it.

Having to pay more than a deluxe for runabout kills him off for me and then I have no need of wave 3 Runamuck so that's money saved.
Headmasters are tempting for the Japanese decos at £80 but something new and shiny wins over versions of something I already have for the most part, dampens the temptation.
*thruust, not much point not being able to get the other seekers so I'll stick with my classics that I'm also missing seekers from... hard to believe brand spanking new G1 (reissues) were the easiest to get out of all the toylines.

Was shocked by how easy it was to get in on Thrust and Runabout. Had just assumed they'd sell out in mere seconds like most of the other Target exclusive stuff lately.

That really surprised me too, it took an hour and 20 minutes to sell out after it showed up in the store. Maybe it actually caught people off guard enough scalperbots weren't actually ready for it

It does kinda spoil the illusion of his head being the real nosecone, but that's paint budget for you.Bounti76 wrote:Well Thrust is sold out. Bleh.

I'm just glad he doesn't have the halfassed turbofans that Henkei/Generations Thrust did. Remember those?

I haven't got my Overlord with me (since I'm at college), but I have noticed how similar their alt-modes look since I picked up Snapdragon a couple of weeks ago. I've been wanting to compare them, so thanks for the image!

Maybe this is why Skywarp and Thundercracker are reportedly getting clearanced now, to make space for this next "wave" of Target exclusives?

If it means they don't get shortpacked, or otherwise are hard to find, then they can take up as much space as they want, in my view.

They won't get shortpacked. Target exclusive figures generally come in solid cases. Leadfoot was packed that way, at least.

Mine also has a big quality control issue where one of the pink pegs won't snap into the white hole on the inner armature of the car hood and front fenders. It prevents the fender side panel from pegging in correctly, leaving a huge panel line gap and making it impossible to roll the car flat on its wheels.
I have similar issues with a panel on mine, and I do feel the plastic on the backpack could be better, but the figure itself to me is better than the T30. Her hands can hold more weapons and she can stand in better poses. Plus she has a 5mm port on each foot so she can Weaponize a bit. I wish they could have merged the two, the ER figure with the T30 backpack and Face.

I think it's another case like how G1 Chase was named "Roadburn" in Titans Return because that name having become more associated with the Rescue Bot.ScottyP wrote:I find it odd that Barricade isn't called Barricade. Not sure who it helps to use "Runner".

I like that Micromaster set, it's cute how they've still managed to complete the Decepticon Race Track Patrol even though Barricade is someone completely different now. I'll either pre-order the Micron set or buy the Earthrise Wave 2 Micromasters (the Astro Squad and the Race Track Patrol), but not both because I don't want my shelf to be over-run with too many Micromasters.
It's nice to see the Deluxe Headmasters being made available again, I never owned Chromedome or Brainstorm, but I did used to have Hardhead and Mindwipe years ago and they were good. I may skip them purely for the sake of conserving money and shelf space, but regardless I'm happy the moulds are getting another run.

The Micromaster pack is kinda disappointing to me, so money saved for other releases.
The Headmasters I did not see coming at all. Neat they found a way to bring the Legends tooling over stateside. I’d probably get just Chromedome so I can put the original Titans Return one on my IDW shelf along with Rewind (who’s in storage somewhere )

Believe it or not, Thundercracker and Skywarp are shelfwarming here in El Paso, all four Targets have loads of them here. Seen that Soundwave dozens of times as well, between here and my hometown in Wilmington, NC. Leadfoot even is starting to hit saturation; I see more of him than actual other Studio Series. I just wish the same could be said for their other exclusives; the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge stuff I’ve seen one of each once each (except the red Stormtrooper fella who’s name I’ve forgotten), and I was lucky to have found the GI Joe Classified Baroness w/ COIL Bike and Beachhead, have yet to find any Cobra Troopers and probably never will

Two, maybe three times before it was gone. I would have purchased it, but it wasn't different enough from the TR one for me. The only BB toys that I got was the set with the new Tablet minions, I kept them but gave the cheap BB toy to one of my sons friends.

The sad thing is that I actually saw Windblade, Topspin, Twin Twist, Misfire, and Slugslinger on shelves in multiple stores, but I passed them up every time because I kept hoping in vain for Sky Shadow and Overlord. Who ultimately never showed up in my area AT ALL because at every single blasted store the Leader-class space was clogged by an overspilling glut of Turbo Changer Dragonstorm. Oh, hindsight's a bugger.

Speaking of Masterpiece figures, I'm just about ready to cash them all in. They come out too slowly and we'll never complete the whole cast at this rate, especially when they keep redoing characters already released. Without going into a whole rant on the Masterpiece line, I'll just say that modern Generations figures are much more satisfying, keeping the screen accuracy of the Sunbow character models and adding in much more sculpted detailing, which looks fantastic to me. All of this comes at a fraction of the price of the Masterpiece line. So, what I'm trying to say is, don't count on me for that Masterpiece Arcee review, lol!

Meanwhile I've been asked to source Thrust...
Target.com is a waste of time for non-US buyers, but he is sold out there already. Only found one other source so far. But... why is he listed at $109 on his own!?!
Hasbro are essentially scalpers to their own [international] fanbase..

I've had that thought in the back of my head since Siege started, and outside of the Diaclone homages I'm starting to find myself less and less excited every time a new MP figure is announced. To me that's odd considering how stoked I was when they first started doing MPs.
As for the Target-exclusive guys, on the other hand, I'm loving the Windstorm/Hurricane and Stingracer/Stinger deal. It's like a mini-crossover set. Plus, I was super-into M.A.S.K. as a kid, and those were two of my favorite vehicles (even though Hurricane was my brother's).

I'm in the same boat, the very tip of the wing that becomes the back of the leg, and it was the Takara version so this would be a perfect replacement. I also never got Hardhead as I mainly went for the Decepticon Headmasters, ugh, I mean Titanmasters, so I might pick him up if I see him.

Another thing about the MPs is that even before the prices ballooned.. there was always the fact that they take up more space.Wolfman Jake wrote:Speaking of Masterpiece figures, I'm just about ready to cash them all in. So, there's something I'm curious as to whether anyone else was experienced. When I first got Snapdragon, his right hand didn't want to budge for anything, almost as if it was glued in place (although I didn't see any signs of glue). I had to loosen the screw a fair ways before it would actually move. It has moved freely ever since, though, even after I re-tightened the screw.
Anyone else run into that? Or have any idea what the problem was?

Thrust is a redeco of the previously released Amazon Exclusive Dirge and Ramjet two pack (they are themselves retools of the Earthrise seeker mold).
Runabout is a direct redeco of his partner Runamuck.

It all depends on if these are straight re-releases or if they did something with the materials. A few figures in Titans Return used a type of rubbery plastic for pieces, and I've heard reports of the others breaking as well. Specifically, the flap on Skullcruncher/Krok where the Titanmaster sits has broken on a bunch. No idea why they used this type of plastic for the pieces they did.
Went to Target, Walmart, and two Walgreens with zero signs of any new Earthrise. One of the Walgreens did have a shelf sticker for WFC Deluxe but nothing on the shelf. Was hoping to see a Sunstreaker or Bluestreak.

They should be. Leadfoot was similarly sold out of preorders almost instantly, but at least at my Target, they ended up getting two cases of him, at 6 to a case. Same with 'Cracker and Skywarp.
