We already knew about Titan class Scorponok from NYCC and Deluxe class "Runamok" from his winning the fan poll.
Commander class Sky Lynx was previously speculated from an earlier rumor about the next Commander class being one that was said to "complement" Titan class Omega Supreme.
Voyager class Quintesson and Deluxe class "Quintessa", however, are both very new rumors.
According to JakeToys and MEGA-Decepticon's weibo, these are preorder listings from Hasbro China's official Taobao store:
- MPM Mv1 Starscream
- MPM Mv1 Ratchet
- Earthrise Titan Scorponok
- Earthrise Commander class Skylynx
- Earthrise Voyager Quintesson
- Earthrise Deluxe "Quintessa"
- Earthrise Deluxe Runamuck

Also, Sky Lynx as commander is awesome.

As for Quintessa, unless it's an Allicon, I'm at a loss. If they're going with bases, I hope they can all fit together with a unified look of a space city or factory. With Metroplex, Max, and Scorp and Trypticon all having dark gray, leaning on that (like for the one playset we've seen revealed) would make for a set with universal appeal and play value. I hope lots of small playsets and retools are on the way. That's such a fun figure and play pattern. They could keep repainting them (and the bridge guy) to match each titan and I'd keep buying them.

How does he not fit the theme? He's a classic G1 toy that has a base mode.
I am surprised we still think there's a logic to this, there isn't. Many alt modes in Siege were not cybertronian anyways.
I think we also seem to keep forgetting that Hasbro keeps insisting at conventions and through the promotional texts that Earthrise is NOT actually set on Earth, it's supposed to be set in space. The name and alt modes keeps confusing people.
Personally, I could absolutely see this being real, given:
~We know half of the figures on it are real due to official reveals and previous leaks
~Sky Lynx lines up with the cryptic Commander "leak" we had previously seen
~The line is set in space, so seeing Quintessons here would be more likely than in a line actually set on Earth proper
~We know Hasbro likes mixing obscure characters in with the heavy hitters, and the only figure in the wave of Earthrise we've already seen who I'd consider obscure is Ironworks, so most of the surprises should still be coming
~We know Hasbro has the Quintesson adjacent character of Gnaw/the Sharkticons on their mind from the fan vote, this could be why
~We also have the third Mercenary faction coming, they could easily say the Quintessons hired them and that's what faction these two listings belong to (It wouldn't be the first time a Quintesson character seemingly hired Lockdown, at least)
I really just want to know what those figures look like, as I personally still want all my Transformers figures to actually transform, which the Quintessons aren't known to do, and the name Quintessa has been used to refer to a planet, a Titan, and a weird almost humanoid Quintesson lady before. There would have to be something more to at least the Quintesson listing, wouldn't a Voyager Class Quintesson be too big for Hasbro's cartoon scale unless it did or had something to make it fit that price point?

I still go with the theory that the third part will be more future based hence why we had more than meets the eye nods in Siege and season 1 - 2 bot cars for Earthrise

Jetfire is roughly a bit over half the height of Predaking. Now cut that in half to make the two parts of Skylynx and put it on all fours with the articulated wings, neck and tail. He's really not going to be all that much larger than the CW voyager at that point. Much, much heavier but not really all that much larger. Not nearly as much as people are imagining anyway. Sure he's super simple to transform, especially the lynx so it's not like a huge amount of engineering would go into it or that he'd have a huge parts count in that half either but it'd still be way too small all things considered. Unless they make a CW/PotP size Predaking. Then he'd be the perfect size...yet still too small at the same time.
Yeah I'll still get it but I'm not looking forward to a commander sized Skylynx if the rumors are true.

That would be "Quintessence". The word itself has many definitions depending on what area it's used in, but down to the core it refers to the fifth element in Classic Alchemy, next to Fire, Earth, Water and Air. Sometimes referred to as Aether, it's viewed as the building block of the other four, and as perfect.

Pretty sure he means too small to pair with Titan Predaking. I think there's still some potential to get a rather large Sky Lynx though. Both halves are super simple figures and don't need to be made any more complex than the original since there's no real benefit to adding articulation. You really wouldn't want to add articulation to the "Sky" portion's legs since the joints probably wouldn't hold the body up easily so solid legs like the original is fine. The wings don't really benefit from bending at the body, but it probably would be easier to mold the body and wings separately. The neck and tail don't need to have every joint articulated, though maybe adding a way for the head to turn would be nice. The "Lynx" portion can be identical to the original, just with free moving leg joints. Jetfire used armor and weapons to pad his price point out, but Sky Lynx has no use for either so all that plastic can go back into the figure, just give him some fire breath effect parts.
The Quints are an odd thing to include this early, I really thought they'd be held over for 2021. I'm guessing Quintesson is the judge and Quintessa is the guard?
If Runamuck is already on this list does that mean they're actually doing a poll winner early and not holding them over for late in the line for a change?

True, but Combiner Wars seemed like a dump and run as far as characters go On the other hand Hasbro seems to be putting alot more effort into Siege as far as detail and quality goes. I'd bet that bridge in Brooklyn we see Trailbreaker (via Hoist) as a Select/exclusive so it would just be nice to keep the '84 momentum going. BTW ,I know it's a long shot but I really wish Hasbro would make the obscure characters exclusives and keep the main characters general retail. Just sayin'

It means the rumormonger thought using a confirmed but undated figure would lend credence to the rest of the list. Scorponok is similarly an "early" listing, as Titans have been late in their respective toylines.

I'm not sure I follow. For Siege at least Bluestreak and Smokescreen are the only ones I can think of who were exclusives and had a more obscure character in Barricade as the regular release. Skywarp is the only other regular character I can think of that was only an exclusive, but he wasn't at the expense of a more obscure character. He was just odd man out this time between he and Thundercracker.
Pretty much all of Siege and Selects has had the more obscure characters as the exclusives while the more known ones were regular releases.

I think you're missing the point: all main line toys had some form of transformation, even the ones that don't in-fiction. Toys of the latter just get an alt-mode shoe-horned in, the best example of which is the Cyberverse Scarplet figure.
How would one give a Quintesson a "transformation"? Or rather, how would Hasbro be able to justifiably advertise the 5-faced gimmick as a "transformation"?

Pretty much but you have to factor in the differences between a bipedal robot mode versus a quadrupedal and winged robot mode that has to split into two components.
I myself and another who commented already pointed out that each component to Skylynx wouldn't need to be too terribly articulated or contain a high parts counts. However since the figure has to be much longer in robot mode than Jetfire, he's not going to really end up being all that tall. Pretty much take your Jetfire and put him on his hands and knees. That's about the size Skylynx would be if he were to be a single commander figure. If you don't have Jetfire then use Cybertron Megatron or Metroplex. Maybe about the size of Beast Fire Predaking/Guren Dragotron in dragon mode would be more accurate.
If you want Skylynx to scale with your Siege figure and even the CW/PotP combiners then it might be good enough if not still too small. But if you want it to scale to PotP Predaking then it's not even close. Predaking is too big and shouldn't have been a titan to begin with but now that he is, he'll need a titan Skylynx to go up against and a single commander one just won't be large enough. That's why I said double commander.

- non transforming
- not a base
- rotating faces and articulated tentacles

Which one is this info for, the Voyager Quintesson or the Deluxe Quintessa? Whichever one it is, I'm no longer interested in.

I don't know if the design and aesthetic is fit to the Earthrise line.
I don't know , look more like Cyberverse to me.
Articulation only have 4 tentacle move as balljoint at base.
the gimmick is push on top and the head will rotate.
I like it but to you all I don't know , maybe you expect more. But to have such quintesson figure is cool to be honest
it has that pushing down then the head rotate between each face gimmick.
the color is black and each face has that kind of desaturated color , very egyptian like.
Now it could be that this is another Quintesson figure for a different line, we really don't know. All we know is we have further info on an upcoming Quintesson figure, which sounds to be rather simplistic in design.

I'm hoping they end up being a 5 face changing Quintesson with a stand and some effects parts, and the Quintessa is a toy of TLK Quintessa. That would be an awesome addition to generations and a nice surprise.

Detritus is even in the TCG, which isn't necessarily a belwether for a toy but that's even more fuel to that fire. Repaint Storm Cloud and Whisper as Star Saber parts, yeah, this looks like another attempt at Exiles.

I dunno, I expected to be surprised and have the figure have something that makes me actually want it? I expect my Transformers figures to actually, y'know, transform, for starters. I was hoping them doing a Voyager class Quintesson in Generations meant they were going to make all the regular Quintesson stuff be it's robot mode, and then have it turn into...something, at least, like how they made new modes for each of the Weaponizers and Ironworks. A ship, a Sharkticon, a weird Alpha-Q-like monster thing, something. Having a non-transforming egg with faces in the main line just feels to me like a waste of a spot that could have gone to an actual Transformer.
As it stands though, I just have to either hope this is a gimmicky Cyberverse figure that got mislabeled as being in Earthrise, or take this as more proof that Earthrise just won't be as good to me as Siege is/was.

I mean, they aren't Transformers to begin with so I'd be perfectly fine with a Voyager box of Quints that are just action figures with no transforming. I'd much rather have that than trying to shoehorn a transformation into a character that was never intended to transform.

And if it sells SO well that we get official versions of the Executioner, Bailiff, Prosecutor/Leader, and Scientist that I.T. did, the variants of the latter two from Money is Everything and Dweller in the Depths, the Security Quints killed by the Transorganics and the 3-faced ancient that created them in said latter ep, and the humanoid Quintessons in Forever is a Long Time Coming, and then wash it all down with official Allicons, plentiful enough for army building...
...then I guess I'll FINALLY have to admit that 3rd party products are totally unnecessary, and all I had to do was be patient for the real deal to come through.
But that's not gonna' happen.
Because as several previous comments have observed, the Quintessons are just plain non-toyetic. No matter how important they are to the mythos, or genuinely interesting in design they are, they can't really fit within the TF toyline, because they don't transform.
Instead, they're the perfect example of symbiosis between the official Transformer and 3rd party markets. If it weren't for being able to display all those Impossible Toys Quints (IDR which companies made the other, smaller Judges and Allicons), I never would've bought as many TR Sharkticons as I did, and that has to be true for a LOT of other fans. The reception of that toy probably led in turn led to it's Cyberverse enlargening, and now this Voyager and Deluxe, if true. And that should hopefully lead to 3P versions of the unproduced Quint types listed above, continuing the circle of life toward official Allicons!
Seriously, why didn't we get Allicons during Beast Hunters? Amid all those deluxe variations of generic dragons, they could've done more homages than just a few familiar names.
Point is, while it'll be nice to have a full-grown Quintessa, and it's great that Has/Tak really are trying hard to please their old lifelong fans, this is just one of those niche areas where neither official company can get the proper toys done. 3rd parties stuff exists for a reason, for the good of the greater toy ecosystem, making triumphs and errors that help our current crop of official TFs be as awesome as they are.
And yes, I'll buy these two figures, however they turn out!
