Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian news supplier
Scottimus Prime, we have word that the Jada Diecast cars from Transformers: the Last Knight have gone on sale at Target! The particular figure shown here is the 1:32 scale Barricade figure, based on the characters new alt mode see in The Last Knight, and features the 8 barreled cannon that is toy features on the roof. The die cast also includes opening doors and the robot mode design etched into the bottom. The die cast would normally cost $6.99, has been knocked down to $4.88. The figure was found at the Target in Long island, New York.
Is this price drop enough for you to hunt him down? Let us know in the comments section below!

RollingStone has an
interview out with one of the creative minds of Wizards of the Coast, the company president Chris C o c k s. Wizards of the Coast, as you know, is a subsidiary of Hasbro and producer of collectible card games such as Magic: The Gathering as well as role playing games like Dungeons & Dragons. While we are waiting on an official announcement of sorts, it was mentioned in this interview with Chris C o c k s that the Transformers card game is gestating now and is on its way. Here is what we learned from the interview itself, strictly the Transformers bits of relevance for us:
“With the Transformers trading card game, we can be nimble,” he says.
The game hasn’t been formally announced yet, but C o c k s says it’s a title aimed both at young teens and the collector and toy audience. It will come out in September or October. “We think Transformers are cool and the game has interesting, unique mechanics,” he says. “All cards are two-sided, over-sized and feel bigger, weightier in your hand.” C o c k s says the game has a relatively light learning curve, but a lot of depth. “It should take one or two times to understand how to play,” he says.
The game, which has a unique rule set, is built around two decks. One of the decks is a hero deck and the other is a powers and abilities deck used to “amp up heroes.” The strategy around play, he says, is to choose the right hero with the right abilities and powers. They’re also considering making a digital version of the game, once it launches, depending on how it is received. “Transformers will be brand new to Wizards.”
You can read more from the interview
here about the other properties they work with and keep your optics focus here as we uncover additional information as it becomes available to us.

Hot off the heels of the release of
MAS-02 Megatron mega action figure we are graced with a tease of the next offering from them. The
Toys Alliance Facebook page did a preview post of what will probably be MAS-03(?) and it is none other than Decepticon Communications Officer and Spymaster, Soundwave. While they added a question mark after MAS-03 teasing the idea of it, we are going to hedge our bets here on the fact this is next. It is assuredly a fitting choice too in going from Megatron to Soundwave. Here is the tease below that they posted on their page:

We have a new teaser from Imaginarium Art and their official Facebook
page, featuring another Decepticon to join the ranks of their extremely detailed and dynamic, officially licensed Transformers statues -and it's none other than the faction leader himself, Megatron!
Only teased with a grey prototype render, you can check out the smirk and fusion cannon below, as they were released on the page with the trademark motto 'Peace Through Tyranny'. Additionally, you can browse their galleries on the page (right
here) to see what the status is with their Optimus Prime figure (as we already covered
here), and the development process that went into the production of the Autobot leader.

We have a new update from the
Toys Alliance Facebook page on their upcoming figure, MAS-02 Megatron. The post clarifies that they are having some delay on this fully licenced figure, and that the new, updated shipping dates should be somewhere within February or March of next year. Accompanying this post are some new stock photos of this figure, which we've mirrored down below. Check out the full quote from the update:
We are expecting some delay on our MAS-02 Megatron shipment due to the production delay by manufacturer, and the updated launch date is late Feb or early Mar, we apologize for the long wait.
Thank you for all your support and Happy Holiday!

Flame Toys has been busy over the past few weeks with new reveals for action figures and model kits alike, and today, we bring to you news of yet another teaser, shown off on their
Twitter page. The new teaser is for their Kuro Kara Kuri 04 Optimus Prime action figure, part of the same line that includes Tarn, Star Saber, and Drift. Optimus appears to keep the trend of his predecessors with his super detailed and stylized look. It is also notable that this is the first major Transformers character that Flame toys is tackling outside of the IDW comics designs, seeing as how Tarn is only know to his IDW comics appearances, Star Saber is big in Japan but the statue uses his IDW design, and Drift is a relatively recent character who started in the IDW comics and is based on his appearance in said comics.
It is important to note that this is an action figure, and not the model kit that was previously revealed at
Toysoul.
Check out the teaser below, and let us know what you think of it in the comments section below!

Some more images have surfaced from Toysoul 2017, the event currently taking place in Hong Kong, showcasing a number of licensed Transformers products, and hosting companies such as Flame Toys and
Super Fans Group. The latter, in fact, which we covered
recently by showing their wall decoration Megatron, in his Transformers: The Last Knight design, also seem to have a whole line planned of statues in the same concept.
The images below, which are mirrored from Weibo user
小白哥乌拉诺斯, appear to feature Autobots Optimus Prime, Hound, and Bumblebee alongside the Decepticon leader too, all in their latest live-action movie designs, plus a special promotion for the Megatron one exclusive to the show. Check them out below, and let us know what you think of the admittedly quite bulky wall decorations in the Energon Pub discussion boards!

We've received a quick notification on our social media from Philippines based fan
Xavier Basa, concerning some mug-shots plastered on mugs, for anyone out there looking to sip coffee with robots, or tea with Transformers, or just for novelty kitchen / dining room / office desk decoration!
The four designs found at the Christmas Toy Fair in Megamall, Manila , feature two from each traditional Cybertronian faction, Autobots and Decepticons - respectively, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, and Megatron and Soundwave. The style is very much reminiscent of G1, including the packaging homage and captions with name and faction, plus of course the original Transformers logo. We have currently no idea if these are officially licensed by Hasbro, but they look like they might be. Check them out below!
