Every few days we'll be bringing you some cool Transformers eBay auctions that are worth taking a look at. If you have eBay Transformers auctions, please post them here in our Carbombya Buy/Sell/Trade forum. We'll take a look there first to see if you've got something cool posted that should be featured on Seibertron.com. Check back in 2 to 3 days for some more featured Transformers items from eBay.
Featured Auction #1
Exclusive EZ Collection SOUNDWAVE, DEMOLISHOR, PRIME!
3 of Takara Tomy's exclusive ROTF EZ Collection figures are currently available on eBay from New Zealand seller snipebot. This might sound like a lot for these 3 figures, but considering how you have to obtain them in Japan I'd say it's a decent deal. I pondered doing the buy-it-now earlier tonight but I think I'm going to wait tonight after spending a little too much on some other items this past week.
Featured Auction #2
The upcoming WST Grey Shockwave figures have started shipping recently. Why not pair your little guy up with the original Grey Shockwave, appropriately nicknamed "Shackwave" for the Radioshack version sold during the mid 80s. Check out this auction from popular eBay seller intergalactic_space_bunny:
1984 Robot Pistol Shockwave Shackwave Boxed & Works

BotCon and Generation 2
With all of the excitement building quickly for BotCon, make sure you check out eBay's categories for BotCon and Generation 2, which is the theme for BotCon 2010.

Forgotten wrote:Good haul you picked up Ryan. I hope you're managing to snag as many Machine Robos as you are Battle Beasts. And congrats on all the Galaxy Mans. You should now be officially Shackwave poor. I'm so jealous.
I've only been focused on Gobots / Machine Robos characters that have made it over to the Transformers Universe for the time being, though some of those Super GoBots really catch my eye. Battle Beasts are a lot less expensive and have so far been easier to collect.
As for the Shackwaves, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these. I might keep the best one and put the other two back up on eBay after I take the photos for Seibertron.com. I imagine they'll end up back in a future "featured ebay auctions" news story in the future.

I've certainly noticed an uptick in G2 items landing on eBay since the G2 theme of Botcon was announced, particularly in recent days. In fact, I was able to pick up a MISB G2 redux of Grimlock (Blue), Snarl (Red), and Slag (Green) for $45 each yesterday. Not bad at all, IMO.
Just need to find me a G2 Starscream and my collection of G1-style seekers (excluding lucky draws, if any) will be complete.

Nice work on the G2 items. I'm impressed. I think I paid around a $100 for a MISB G2 Grimlock back in 2007.
As for the timeliness of the featured auctions, I think that's the general theme that I want to do with these featured auctions, though I'll definitely feature the rare item from time-to-time as well. Somehow everything seems relevant again at some point in this hobby so I should be able to cover a lot of ground.

Thanks Right place at the right time. They were buy-it-now/obo, but I wasn't about to chance losing those guys at those prices.
Anyway, I think these featured auctions are a great idea. I certainly look forward to them
Here's an auction that I believe would be a perfect featured auction. It's clear from the title this guy is not exactly sure what he has. It's the Car Robots Japan TRU God Fireconvoy and Magnus Giftset (Clear). It appears to be unused. If I didn't already own this, I'd be reluctant to advertise However, everyone deserves a chance to own this one

Well that just went into my Watching list. It's strange, I have Omega Prime and I don't care for him really. Make it transcluscent and I can't resist buying it. Go figure.

I know what you mean. If a translucent version of Armada Sideswipe (probably my least favorite mold of any TF) was created, I'd probably add it to my collection
